1. What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?
That creativity is the "dead centre" of the learning process and digital technologies can be used to enhance and augment this process and its outcomes.
2. What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional?
Again, an expanding understanding of the capabilities of the various digital tools available to us and how they, in turn, can be applied to the existing educational and personal settings of both myself and my learners.
3. What did I learn that could be used with my learners?
To use all aspects covered today, Youtube for my own organisation and Google Draw/Slides with my students. Of particular interest is the use of Google Slides to make a digital pepeha.
4. What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life?
That " techno feckery" is a thing and my capacity and patience to constantly deal with this is increasing.
Techno Feckery - a phenomena that creates annoyance, frustration, impatience or surprise when things of a technological nature, that have absolutely no correlation with your technical abilities, constantly go wrong in the background so that they undermine, distort, and delay task completion.
